Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the university president both of Dr. Farag Khodary , Director of Marketing Office and technology and Dr. Tarek El Kashef , member of the Marketing Office of and technology transfer participated in a workshop on “Use of International Standards in Measuring the indicators of science of technology and innovation” that organized by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology in cooperation with experts of the Organization NEPAD (The New Partnership for Africa’s Development) in the period from September 21-23, 2015 in guesthouse at Ain Shams University , where the workshop was held for training on “Use of International Standards in Measuring the indicators of science of technology and innovation” in the framework of participation in initiative indicators of science and technology in Africa.
As the Egyptian Observatory for Science, Technology and Innovation in cooperation with the Egyptian universities and research centers for collecting comprehensive data on innovations and output of scientific research in order to help the decision-makers in setting the policies to meet the challenges of the future and that depending on the real indicators of science, technology and innovation, according to international standards to identify the strengths and weaknesses that could affect on the research’s performance
