The South Valley University Council, chaired by Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, convened its latest session at the university’s headquarters in Qena, where several key decisions were approved, including:
– International Cooperation Protocol between South Valley University and “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Romania.
– Organization of the International Conference on Humanities and Heritage Revival, to be hosted by the Faculty of Arts, Department of History, from April 14–15, 2025.
– Hosting the 5th International Conference of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, under the theme “Innovations in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation”, scheduled for April 23–25, 2025.
– Launching postgraduate programs (Diploma – Master’s) in the Pediatric Nursing Department at the Faculty of Nursing, starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, following the completion of faculty staffing and the approval of the Supreme Council of Universities.
Additionally, the council approved a cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Science and Nile Modern Company for Human Resources Development, aimed at strengthening research and practical applications in the field of science.
