According to the university council in its session No. 278 in 20/12/2019,the following conditions have been set for awarding master’s and doctoral degrees:
Firstly:Master’s Degree
| Sector | Conditions |
| Basic and Engineering Sciences | Publishing one paper or having an acceptance for publishing in a peer-reviewed international scientific journal. |
| Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences | Publishing one paper or having an acceptance for publishing in a peer-reviewed international scientific journal. |
| Medical Sciences | Publishing one paper or having an acceptance for publishing in a peer-reviewed international scientific journal. |
| Human and Educational Sciences | Publishing one paper or having an acceptance for publishing in an international scientific journal. |
| Archeology, Arts and Tourism Sciences | Publishing one paper or having an acceptance for publishing in an international scientific jou rnal. |
Secondly :Doctoral Degree
| Sector | Conditions |
| Basic and Engineering Sciences | Publishing two papers or having an acceptance for publishing in a peer-reviewed international scientific journal. One of the two papers should be published in a journal indexed in Scopus or ISI Web of Science. |
| Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences | Publishing two papers or having an acceptance for publishing in a peer-reviewed international scientific journal. One of the two papers should be published in a journal indexed in Scopus or ISI Web of Science. |
| Medical Sciences | Publishing two papers or having an acceptance for publishing in a peer-reviewed international scientific journal. One of the two papers should be published in a journal indexed in Scopus or ISI Web of Science. |
| Human and Educational Sciences | Publishing one paper or having an acceptance for publishing in an international scientific journal. One of the two papers should be published in a journal indexed in Scopus or ISI Web of Science or in a specialized journal that is recognized and included in the list of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank. |
| Archeology, Arts and Tourism Sciences | Publishing one paper or having an acceptance for publishing in an international scientific journal. One of the two papers should be published in a journal indexed in Scopus or ISI Web of Science or in a specialized journal that is recognized and included in the list of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank. |
