Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, President of the University, has witnessed a workshop organized by Faculty of Science entitled “Rules of Applying for the Scientific Committee for upgrade”. It was lectured by Dr. Mohammed Zaki and Dr. Mohammed Mahgoub. Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour asserted that there were new rules for scientific committees for upgrading professors and assistant professors in the Supreme Council of Universities to evaluate the performance of the academic staff for their scientific activities and participation in students’ activities and community service according to the standard criteria identified by the university. Moreover, Dr Yousef Alghrabawy ,Acting Dean of Faculty of Science, referred to the president support to researchers asserting the importance of modifying the committees and developing it.
