Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, South Valley University president, Prof. Dr. Hamdy Hussein, Dean of the Medicine Faculty, Dr. Ahmad Abu Al Yousr, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and in collaboration with Egyptian Association for the Surgery of kidney and urinary, the 2nd conference of Urology Department at Faculty of Medicine in Qena, which was held in the period from July 19 to 22, in Hurghada issued many recommendations, including:– Increasing cooperation between all the departments of kidney and Urology surgery at the Egyptian universities.
– Increasing cooperation between the Upper Egyptian universities and exchanging the experiences among them.
This was stated by Dr. Jamal Abdul Hameed Al Sgheer, president of Urology in the faculty and University Hospital and President of the Conference.
Dr. Omar Alsgheer and Dr. Atef Fathy from organizing committee of the conference also added that the conference recommended with:-
– Need to increase the workshops and take the maximum advantage from them.
– Giving the opportunity for young researchers to create a second generation of urology surgeons.
– Necessity of continuous development for equipments and techniques and update it.
It is worth mentioning that the conference participated by 110 professors and researchers in the field of medicine and surgery of kidney and Urology from many Egyptian universities.
