The 3rd International Conference of Nanotechnology and its application that was organized by the university under the auspice of Dr. Asherf Al Sheikhy , Minister of Higher Education ; Gen. Ahmed Abdullah , Red Sea Governor , and Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour , the university president in the period of February 23-25, 2016 in Hurghada recommended adding optional course of nanotechnology applications for undergraduate students and supporting the researches of water purification by using nanotechnology.
As Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khodary, the conference’s head added that the conference also recommended expanding in the use of solar energy and inviting pharmaceutical companies to collaborate with researchers in microbiological nanotechnology applications, as well as holding this conference annually.
