Qena University organized a comprehensive development convoy for the Qift center, led by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akawy and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Abdullah. The convoy aimed to provide integrated medical and awareness services to the community, offering medical examinations for approximately 925 individuals across various specialties, including internal medicine and pediatrics, and providing free treatment. An awareness nursing program featured educational sessions on managing chronic diseases and conducted health screenings for blood pressure and sugar levels. Additionally, a veterinary awareness initiative educated citizens on proper poultry feeding and the risks of antibiotic misuse. The convoy also collaborated with the Addiction Control and Treatment Fund to distribute materials on addiction awareness and prevention. This initiative reflects Qena University’s commitment to enhancing community health and well-being, coordinated by Mr. Jamal Al-Zumar, the Director of Community Service and Caravans.
