Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, President of the University, witnessed the ceremony organized by Qena University Hospitals for passing four years after opening Cardiac Catheterization Unit. He praised the achieved efforts and continues development to be a destination for many patients in Upper to provide an integrated medical service that is suitable for the citizens of Upper Egypt .Additionally, Prof .Dr. Ahmed Abo Al-Yosr, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, thanked Prof. Dr. Abbas for his permanent support for the hospitals administration to develop its medical departments and open new centers and units ,referring to the administration concern with Cardiac Catheterization Unit because of the spread of Cardiovascular disease and the increase of patients .The unit has worked with the latest and most efficient medical devices in this field for operating the different surgeries .Its development began in 2013 with receiving 152 patients and continued its work till receiving 2000 patients in 2016. During the latest four years, it witnessed many aspects of cooperation with the local and international universities.
