Under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the University council approved:
-Participating in Golden Triangle Conference at Hurghada on July 20-23, 2017.
Establishing Oral & Dental Medicine Hospital at SVU.-
-Organizing the 2nd scientific conference at Faculty of Physical Education entitled” Challenges of Arab Sports among Citizenship and Terrorism” on November 28-30, 2017.
-Organizing the 2nd Natural Resources and Renewable Energy Conference at Hurghada on April 23-26, 2018.
-Considering the protocol of cooperation between SVU and Orman Hospital in Luxor.
-Approving the suggested regulation of Department of Education and Information Technology and Computer Teacher in English at Faculty of Specific Education and also financial and administrative regulation of Scientific Publishing and International Relations Center at SVU.
Granting doctoral degree to a large number of researchers.-
-Considering Medicinal and aromatic plants Unit at Faculty of Pharmacy and Languages & Translation Center at Faculty of Al-Alsun as special units.
Granting Master’s degree to a large number of researchers.
