Prof. Dr Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, announced the issuance of a republican decision appointing Dr Khaled bin Al-Walid Abdel Fattah Ahmed Hefny as Dean of the Faculty of Science, South Valley University in Qena, Dr Khaled bin Al-Waleed, Professor of Materials Science and Applied Physics at the Faculty of Science at SVU, graduated from the Faculty of Science in 2000, and he was appointed as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Science in 2001, obtained a master’s degree in 2003 then a doctorate in 2006, before the decision appointing him as Dean of the Faculty of Science he assumed the presidency of Physics Department, served as Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, as well as Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and main scholar at the Egyptian Center for Nanotechnology at Cairo University, Director of the Project Management Unit at the University, and Director of the Quality Unit at the Faculty of Science in Qena.
