Kafr El-Sheikh University’s Conference “CLIMATE CHANGE AND THE NEED FOR ONE WORLD… ONE HEALTH APPROACH”.


Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Prof. Abdul Razek Desouky, President of Kafr El-Sheikh University, the university of Kafr El-Sheikh held a conference from 5 to 8 October entitled “CLIMATE CHANGE AND THE NEED FOR ONE WORLD… ONE HEALTH APPROACH” at the Gravity resort in Sahl Hashish-Hurghada city, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aal, Vice-President of Kafr El-Sheikh University for Student and Educational Affairs, and Dr. Hassan Younis, conference coordinator, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharabawy, President of South Valley University and Dr. Nasr Mandour, President of Suez Cannel University, the conference discussed many themes just like climate change and its impact on plants and human communities, impact of climate change on education and health, Green Economy, and the role of universities in climate change awareness, as the conference aims to support scientific research, develop applied projects, and strengthen Egypt’s role in addressing global climate change.

Dr. Desouky explained that the University is undertaking initiatives to streamline consumption and has a separate classification within global green universities, encouraging professors and researchers to implement viable research projects in the field of reducing the impacts of climate change.
