Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour ,President of the University, has witnessed the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at Faculty of Nursing where he asserted the university estimation for them because of their distinctive participation in all competition .He also spoke about the university role in serving and supporting them referring to the role of Career Development Center in developing ,training and appointing them in various companies. Prof .Dr. Nadia Abdullah ,Dean of Faculty of Nursing ,defined that day as an international observance promoted by the United Nations since 1992 to promote an understanding of disability issues , mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities an increase awareness of gains to be derived from the integration of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life
