On December 21st,the university organized a workshop on Innovative Solutions for Technological Challenges in the Industrial Zones under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour who asserted the university role which was not only educating students but also serving the surrounding community and meeting its requirements and needs referring to the role of Technology Innovation and Commercialization Office in providing solutions and suggestions to any issue to develop the industries through researches. Additionally, Dr. Farag Khodary, Director of Technology Innovation and Commercialization Office at the university, referred to the workshop objective which was identifying the distinctive researches and implement it for the benefit of the national industry to achieve development .He also called for supporting the relation between the research and the community needs ,encouraging entrepreneurship and developing the prototypes of inventions.
