South Valley University organizes under the auspices of Dr. Wael Degwy, Minister of Higher Education and Eng. Khalid Abdul Aziz, Minister of Youth and Sports and Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the university president a program in civil education in collaboration with UNICEF, which is supervised by the Central Administration of Parliament and Civil Education in Ministry of Youth and Sports, while the University President pointed that the program aims to develop the spirit of citizenship, sense of Egyptian identity, tolerance and acceptance of others , as well as introducing students of their rights and responsibilities , as Prof. Dr. Hefni Ismail, Vice President for Student Affairs added the program holds on June 15 – 19, 2014 at the Conference Hall of the University, which implements by a group of outstanding youth who prepared by UNICEF, where Mr. Metawa Fekry , General Director of Youth care administration pointed that the university was announced about the program and students are registered in it
