With the cooperation of Drug Control and Addiction Treatment Fund, Community Service and Environmental Affairs Sector organized an awareness symposium on facing the phenomenon of drug addiction at Faculty of Commerce under the supervision of Vice- President for Community Service and Environmental Affairs Prof. Yusuf Al-Garabwy to spread awareness between students. Mr. Ragab Mahmoud, A representative of Drug Control and Addiction Treatment Fund, talked about the great effort of the fund to face the phenomenon of addiction through organizing various awareness campaigns, preventive programs, workshops and training courses to build a positive personality capable of confronting the various negative phenomena that hinder the development process. The symposium confirmed the importance of awareness on dangers of addiction and its impact on public health and destructive role caused by those habits in destructing communities. At the end of the symposium, an open dialogue was organized with the students of the Faculty about the phenomenon.
