The events of the 1st International Conference of Faculty of Tourism and Hotels was concluded in Luxor under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Al-Shehhi , Minister of Higher Education , Dr. Mohammed Rashid Minister of Tourism and Dr. Mohamed Badr, Luxor governor , Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the University president and Prof. Dr. Sayed Taha, Vice President for community service in the period from April 19-21, 2016. As Luxor governor stressed on applying some of the conference’s recommendations in luxor , as well as praising the topics which were discussed by the conference in the presence of a group of experts, professors and researchers in the field of tourism , he also appealed to public and private sector for training and qualifying the workers in the tourism sector to promote the tourism industry and transport. Moreover, Dr. Saleh Abdel Muty , Dean of Faculty of Tourism and Hotels praised the support of the governor to the university education , adding that the conference was discussed (72) researches in the fields of tourist guides , studies tourism and hotel with participation of 200 researchers and tourist expert from Egypt, Sudan, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Germany and countries.
