Beginning of Digital School Programs for Children


 

 

Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, visited the commencement of the Digital School programs for children at the university. The President highlighted the significance of digital transformation and its impact on individuals and society, emphasizing the university’s role in serving the Qena community to keep pace with the modern era.

He explained that the school offers several programs, including programming, graphics, electronic games, digital content creation, entrepreneurship, and robotics. Dr. Ahmed Helmy, Coordinator of the Digital School for Children, mentioned that the graphics course includes 22 children, while the programming course includes 30 children. These numbers were determined based on the capacity of the labs to ensure that each child has an appropriate seat and computer.

The launch of the Digital School programs was attended by Dr. Emad Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information and a member of the Digital School Committee, along with other members: Dr. Mohamed Mahdi, Assistant Coordinator of the School, Mubarak Ahmed, General Director of Public Relations, Mr. Bahaa Mohamed, and Mr. Muaid Abdullah
