SVU Faculty of Medicine of under the auspices of Dr. Abbas Mansour, President of SVU, and Dr. Ahmad Abu El Yosr ,Dean of the faculty, during the period from October 24 to 25; organized a workshop titled “Basic Life Support.” Kherdi Fawmat Dutch specialist nursing and CPR expert and Dr. Gad Sayed Gad, Head of the intensive care department Qena University Hospital have lectured in it. It was attended by a number of students of the Faculties of Medicine and Nursing and Technical Institute of Nursing and the School of Nursing where they were trained on the basics of dealing with critical situations that suffer from cardiac arrest and how rapid intervention to save the lives of these patients.
