Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, Vice President for Post Graduate and Research Affairs, a workshop on 3D virtual labs was held on Saturday 25 April 2020 via live streaming in coordination between labs and scientific devices unit and PraxiLabs.
The workshop lasted for two hours, and the idea of making virtual laboratories and their importance in digital age was explained. Also, a practical simulation of a DNA experiment was performed.
Additionally, Dr. Ahmed Akkawy pointed out the importance of the workshop in expanding the use of 3D virtual laboratories along with the traditional methods of education.
