A workshop was held at the university to discuss Strategy Plan for 2014-2015 at the university in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the university president , Prof. Dr. Hefny Ismail, Vice President for Student Affairs , Dr. Jamal Kamal, International Consultant for Strategic Planning, as well as planning advisor for King Saud University, a group of deans and academic staff at the faculties in addition to students , where they discussed about law of the universities regulation , the future aspirations for students and the basic issues, as it was agreed to hold a workshop in each faculty to discuss students in the plan , it is mentioned that the university was held many workshops on studying the strategy plan for the university
