The first sessions of Literature and Thought Club began under the auspices of President of the University Prof. Abbas Mansour who confirmed that the students have literary talents in poetry and criticism with the sense of belonging to the Arab world issues and risks facing Egypt at the moment. He also agreed to publish a new book and literary magazine which include literary production of students of Egyptian and Arab universities in story, poetry, article and caricature. Besides, Prof. Mohammed Abul Fadal Badran, Vice President for Students’ Affairs, referred to the history of the club as it is one of the oldest Egyptian literary clubs.
