The events of 2nd International Conference on Nanotechnology Science was begun at the university under the auspices of Gen. Abd El Hamid HaJan, Qena governor and Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the university president , who confirmed on participation of researchers from England, Russia, Sweden, India, Pakistan, Algeria and various Egyptian universities , besides providing the benefit for the academic staff , their assistants and the university students , where the conference was discussed (40) researches in several points .
while Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khodary , the Conference President added that Nanoscience and its applications one of the Strategic Plan of the University , on the other hand, Dr. Mohammed Haneen , professor at University of Nottingham praised the university’s keenness on holding this conference and participation of various universities and institutions, stressing on importance of scientific forums in achieving communication between researchers from various countries
