{"id":1503,"date":"2020-01-08T13:16:39","date_gmt":"2020-01-08T13:16:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/new.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/sci\/?page_id=1503"},"modified":"2020-01-08T13:17:06","modified_gmt":"2020-01-08T13:17:06","slug":"registration-conditions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/sci\/en\/registration-conditions\/","title":{"rendered":"Registration Conditions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Article (19)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Bachelor degree in Science in any single or double specialization from any Egyptian Universities or equivalent<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Article (20)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Diploma duration is a year of theoretical and practical and training study determined by the faculty council<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Article (21)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Exams of diploma are held twice yearly .Exam duration is 3 hours except for courses of theoretical hour weekly where exam duration is 2 hours. The student has an opportunity to re-exam and does not allowed to register for any of the referred diplomas for more than two years. He should get at least 60% in every course to be successful.<br \/>\nRequirements for M. Sc. Degree<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Article (23)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Bachelor degree from any Egyptian university or equivalent. Gradation should be no less than (Good). The student should be satisfactory to the other scientific conditions set by the specialized department<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Article (24)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Period for M. Sc. Degree is two years at least that is divided into two phases (preliminary year) and Registration phase (field and practical study).The student should success in the preliminary year to register. He should study full-time. Applying for master degree is in October yearly.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Article (25)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Holding seminars of every department for 2 hours weekly .The student should attend 75%at least of seminars approved by the department annually.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Article (26)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">To get master degree, the student should:<br \/>\nAttend theoretical, practical and training lectures organized by the faculty council according to the department council suggestions for a year at least<br \/>\nPass exams of the preliminary year<br \/>\nDo research determined by the faculty council according to the department council suggestions<br \/>\nPrepare objects and attending seminars of his specialization under the auspices of the supervision committee of his thesis through the period of registration.<br \/>\nPresent the research results in his thesis<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Article (27)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Holding exams yearly determined by the postgraduate council according to the faculty council suggestions<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Article (28)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The grading system is as follows:<br \/>\nExcellent from 90% to more<br \/>\nVery Good from 80% to less than 90%<br \/>\nGood from 70% to less than 80%<br \/>\nPass from 60% to 70%<br \/>\nFail less than 60%<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Article (29)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The faculty council placed a professor as a supervisor on the thesis.
