To involve all segments of society in choosing the visual identity of Qena Governorate, a session was held to present the proposal of the Faculty of Specific Education in the presence of Major General Ashraf Al-Daoudi, Governor of Qena, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nasary, Vice President of Community Service and Environment Development Sector at the University, Dr. Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor of Qena, Major General Hossam Hamouda, Secretary General of the Governor and others. The design presented by Prof.Dr. Mohammed Saeed came for the word (Qena) through the letters of the Arabic language which has historical connotations for the governorate. It also included features from Dendera Temple and the governorate’s folk industries.
