Hosting Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim, professor at the University of Victoria, England, at South Valley University

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, and in the presence of Dr. Ahmad Akkawi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, the university hosted the scientist and researcher Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Othman, professor of chemical engineering at the University of Victoria, England, who is ranked among the 2% of the world’s most distinguished scientists.

Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Othman gave a scientific symposium entitled “Climate Changes from Upper Egypt to Europe”, at which he spoke about recent climate changes in the world, how to deal with it and develop a set of solutions to protect people, protect homes and the correct methods of insulation for homes. He also presented his scientific career from the Faculty of Science at South Valley University to a professor of chemical engineering at the University of Victoria in England and editor of the journal “Molecular Catalysis” and “Nature Scientific Reports”. There was also an open debate to hear the views of the attending students and answer all their inquiries.

At the end of the symposium, Dr. Ahmad Akkawy, Vice President of the University, presented a gift shield from the NSP team to Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim.
