{"id":4652,"date":"2021-12-12T10:42:13","date_gmt":"2021-12-12T10:42:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/nurs\/?post_type=departments&#038;p=4652"},"modified":"2021-12-25T08:14:28","modified_gmt":"2021-12-25T08:14:28","slug":"department-regulation","status":"publish","type":"departments","link":"https:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/nurs\/en\/departments\/adult-nursing-department\/department-regulation\/","title":{"rendered":"Department Regulation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>Article 8: Evaluation and Examination System:<\/em><\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>Students are allowed to enter the examinations under the following condition:-<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>1) The attendance rate in the nursing sciences is not less than (75%) in the theoretical, <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>practical and clinical lessons.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>2) A decision of the College Council shall be issued at the request of the Department <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>Council to deprive the student from taking the exam if the attendance rate is not met.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>3) If the student does not achieve 60% of the total practical grades, the work of the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>year during the academic year in one of the nursing sciences is prohibited from <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>entering the exam in this article and is considered a recompense.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>4 ) An exam is held at the end of each semester, in January for the first semester, and <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>in May for the second semester.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>5 ) Examinations include (exams for the first semester and exams for the second <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>semester), as well as for the second round exam for the fourth division only, <\/em>with no <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">more than two articles of retardation<em>, and in case of failure in more than two subjects.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>6 )If the student succeeds in the practical exam and the work of the year and the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>theoretical exam at the end of the semester, he is allowed to enter the second stage <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>exam while retaining the practical exam and the year. However, if he fails in the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>second round, the academic year will be repeated in theoretical and practical courses. <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>this Materials.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>7) Students shall take the examinations at the end of the semester in which the course <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>is being studied. The transfer to the higher class shall be a maximum of two articles of <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>default (from the total of the subjects of the two semesters) provided that it is <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>successful in all nursing subjects. Students who fail or transfer material from the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>undergraduates will take the exam in the following year at the end of the first <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>semester of the subjects taught in the first semester, And at the end of the second <\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>semester of the subjects taught in the second semester.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>8 )Students who failed or transferred with material from undergraduates will take the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>exam in the following year at the end of the first semester of the subjects taught in the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>first semester and at the end of the second semester of the subjects taught in the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>second semester.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>9) If the student is absent in the written examination, he is not awarded grades and is <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>considered a teacher.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>10) If the student obtains less than (30%) in the written examination of any course of <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>study, he shall be considered a rapporteur in this course and no grades shall be <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>awarded to him.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em><strong>Article (9) <\/strong><\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em><strong>The success rate is calculated as follows :<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The success of students in nursing, medical, behavioral, auxiliary sciences and general <\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>assessment courses is estimated by taking the following estimates:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em><strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;The success rate&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Subject<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;60% of the total&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Nursing and medical materials<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>&nbsp; 50% of the total&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; course Non-nursing materials<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em><strong>Excellent:<\/strong> 85% or more of total grades<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em><strong>Very good:<\/strong> From 75% to less than 85% of the total grades<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em><strong>Good:<\/strong> From 65% to less than 75% of all grades<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em><strong>Acceptable:<\/strong> From 60% to less than 65% of all grades<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>The failure of students in one of the courses is estimated by one of the following <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>estimations:-<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em><strong>Poor:<\/strong> From 30% to less than 60% of the total score<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em><strong>Very poor:<\/strong> less than 30% of all grades<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>Article (10):<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>The general grade of the student in the bachelor&#8217;s degree is calculated on<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em> the basis of <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>the total (cumulative) total of the grades obtained in all the<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em> academic years. Students <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>are also ranked according to this total.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>Article (11):<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>The student is granted the rank of honor if his general ranking in the<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em> examination of <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>any one of the academic teams is not very good, and the<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em> student is required to have <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>the rank of honor not to have failed in any<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em> exam given to him in any discipline.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>Article (12):<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>The provisions of the Law of Organizing Universities and its Executive<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em> Regulations <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>shall apply, unless any provision is made in these regulations.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em><strong>Article (13):<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>The University Council has the right to add, delete or amend these<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em> regulations based <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>on the proposal of the College Council after taking the<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em> opinion of the Scientific <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>Department Council to develop the educational<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em> process.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>General and Transitional Provisions:-<\/em><\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>The provisions of these Regulations shall apply to the bachelor&#8217;s degree at<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em> the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>beginning of the academic year, which shall be adopted after the<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em> issuance of the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>Ministerial Resolution. The application shall be applied<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em> upward from the first and the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>second in the following year.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>The remaining rules will continue to apply to the remaining students and<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em> the students <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>enrolled in the higher level.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em><strong>Article (14):<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>The implementation of the provisions of the regulation with regard to the controls of <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>attendance and absence of students:-<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>The Rules of Procedure provide that<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>&#8211; The student&#8217;s entrance to the final exam must be met with a minimum attendance <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>ratio of 75%. The College Council shall, at the request of the Council of the relevant <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>scientific department, issue a decision to deprive the student from taking the exam in <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>courses in which the student did not meet attendance.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>-The student shall be considered as a student in the courses that he is prohibited from <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>applying for the examinations, unless the student presents an excuse acceptable to the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>college council.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>&#8211; The absence of the student is sent monthly to the Department of Education and <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>students by each department of scientific departments of the College.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>&#8211; A warning is given to the student in writing when 15% of the absence exceeds a <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>registered letter with the arrival flag addressed to his family (first warning) through <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>the Department of Education and Student Affairs.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>&#8211; After a week, a second warning will be sent if the student continues to repeat the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>absence.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>-If the student goes on the absence of the third warning and the last &#8220;in the case of the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>violation of 25% of the total number of hours of the course&#8221; The student presents the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>position of the Council of the relevant section, and then the College Council to take a <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>decision to deny entry to the exam.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>-The student shall be notified of the decision to deprive the exam from taking the <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>exam in writing not less than one week before the exam.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>-The student is not allowed to enter the exam if submitted with a compulsive excuse <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>accepted by the department council, and the college to be supported by the documents <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>and allow him to take the exam on time with the retention of appreciation.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>-The student is denied entry to the written examination in the nursing courses unless <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>the minimum level of success in the clinical training is completed (60% of the total <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>clinical training.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Article 8: Evaluation and Examination System: Students are allowed to enter the examinations under the following condition:- 1) The attendance rate in the nursing sciences is not less than (75%) [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"parent":3642,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","template":"","format":"standard","_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/nurs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/departments\/4652"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/nurs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/departments"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/nurs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/departments"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/nurs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/nurs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=4652"}],"version-history":[{"count":7,"href":"https:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/nurs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/departments\/4652\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":4941,"href":"https:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/nurs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/departments\/4652\/revisions\/4941"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/nurs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/departments\/3642"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/nurs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4652"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
