Union.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Second<\/span>: Social Solidarity Fund.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; color: #0000ff; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>First: Students Activities and the Students&#8217; Union<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Student unions are consist of the faculty\u2019s regular students who have paid the student union fees and aims to achieve the following:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Develop spiritual and moral values and patriotic awareness among students.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&nbsp;Inculcate a healthy spirit among students and closer links between them, faculty and staff.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Discover and encourage students&#8217; hobbies, abilities and skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Encouragement of the formation of student&#8217;s groups and Cooperative societies and support their activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&nbsp;Organization of sports, social, scouting, artistic and cultural activities and raising their level.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Benefit from the energies of students in the service of the community to develop the nation.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The faculty Student&#8217;s Union Council worked to achieve the goals of student unions in practising student activities through the following committees:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&#8211; Bonds Committee.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&#8211; Sports Activity Committee.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&#8211; Cultural Activities Committee.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&#8211; Artistic Activities Committee.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&#8211; Scouting and Public Service<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&#8211; Social activity and trips committee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Second: Social Solidarity Fund<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">It aims to achieve social insurance for students in various ways.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Work on solving the problems that face students and prevent them from continuing their studies quietly due to the inability of their financial income, and provide them with in-kind and financial support for the unable students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\"><strong>The Functions of Student Activities Committees<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">First: Sports Activity<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">It includes a variety of sports activities throughout the year and it includes the following activities:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Team games: Football, Basketball, Handball, and Volleyball.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&nbsp;Individual games: Athletics, Swimming, Bodybuilding, Judo, Squash, Tennis, Weight lifting, Wrestling, Boxing, Taekwondo, Speedball, Badminton, Strength measurement, and Table tennis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&nbsp;Fitness centre.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Sports meetings with different establishments and universities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">An internal role in the faculty.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Free trips for participants in the sports activity<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Religious activity competitions. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Short story competitions. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Wall journals competition. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Article competitions. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Conducting training courses in English and computer. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Creation different groups (literary-scientific-science club-press-environmental preservation). <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Achieving advanced positions at the university level. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\"><u>Third: Artistic activity:<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The artistic activity refines and highlights the talents of students through the following programs and fields: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Training students on music and singing at the Training Center in Ain Helwan. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Participation in the annual visual arts exhibition at the university level. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The exhibitions were exchanged between the university faculties. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Participation in the annual arts festival for theatrical arts. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Variety competition (single singing &#8211; solo playing &#8211; team music&#8230;etc.). <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Training students in various fields of visual arts under specialized leadership. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\"><u>Fields of figurative competition <\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Painting Art. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Graphics \u201cDrawing &#8211; Printed Designs\u201d. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Decorative arts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Crafts (printing and weaving &#8211; wood and metal works). <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Shaping with different materials.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&nbsp;Sculpture.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&nbsp;Pottery.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&nbsp;Photography.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\"><u>Fourth: Scouting and Public Service Committee. <\/u>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&nbsp; The Scout Committee works to develop scouting skills and train hikers and rangers in various scouting activities through the following programs:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Make Regular meetings of the roaming. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Establish a Training camp and selection of roamers. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Scout and Guidance Festival for Scouts at the university. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Scouting trade course at the level of Commerce Faculties in Egyptian Universities. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Scout exhibition inside and outside the Faculty. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Local and central public service. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Obtaining distinguished supervision in the Scout and Guidance Camp at the University. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Establishing an entertaining camp at the end of the activity. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Get the position of the first roamer in males and females.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Getting first in the Scout Exhibition at the University. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <u>Fifth: Social activity and trips committee: <\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The Social Activities Committee of the Faculty organizes the following competitions: <\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Social theme competition. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The ideal student competition. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">A chess competition. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Organizing blood donation campaigns. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Organizing entertainer trips to various tourist places in the Republic. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\"><u>Sixth, student bonds: <\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Student bonds are formed at the beginning of each academic year.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">The number of students in one bond ranges between 50: &#8211; 100 students from all the different academic classes in the Faculty.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">&nbsp;Student Groups practice various student activities through the different committees in each group.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">&nbsp;It does the ideal student competition.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">&nbsp;The group Committee works to develop ties between students and faculty members and to emphasize the spirit of cooperation, love and brotherhood among them.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">&nbsp;Mubarak&#8217;s group obtained a second-place award at the university level.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">The first position of Ideal female student at the university level.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Distinguished Family: Environment Family (1st place).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\"><u>Other Student Services: <\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\"><u>Social Solidarity Fund Subsidies: <\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The Social Solidarity Fund provides in-kind and financial subsidies to students who are unable, according to the following conditions: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The student takes a social research form from Youth care to be filled out by the student. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">One of the conditions for disbursing the aid is that the student must be a newcomer to his class. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The student must be Egyptian.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">He should not have disciplinary sanctions that prevent him from disbursing subsidies. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">If the student\u2019s guardian works in the government, he must bring a statement of salary. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The income of the individual in the family should not exceed 120 pounds per month. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">If the guardian of the student is the pensioner, he must bring a statement of the pension. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">If the student\u2019s guardian is a farmer, he must bring social research from the social unit in which the student resides, as well as a statement of agricultural holding. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Submitting a request in the name of the Prof. Dr. \/ Dean of the Faculty explaining the student social and economic conditions of the family.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">10-Bring a copy of the page on which the family members are registered with the ration card. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\"><u>Supplementary meals for students: <\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The student does the following to extract the nutrition card from the Faculty. <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The student must have paid the tuition fees. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Not to be staying in the University City. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Bring a personal photo of the student. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Pay 50 piasters for the value of the nutrition card. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The price of dry food is determined by the university. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\"><u>Therapeutic Services: <\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Therapeutic services are provided to students through: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Therapeutic units in each Faculty and for the University Faculty in Ain Helwan (therapeutic unit in Building \u201c3\u201d). <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">University Hospital next to Helwan Faculty of Technology. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">Procedures for benefiting from medical services: <\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The sick student submits to the treatment unit of his Faculty with his Faculty card or proof of payment of tuition fees and a personal photo. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">A medical file will be extracted for him, on which his photo will be placed from outside, and he will have a specific number that will continue with him during the period of his studies. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The medical examination is signed on the sick student and the appropriate treatment is insisted upon him. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">When the drug is not available at the unit pharmacy, the pharmacist indicates this and buys it from the public sector pharmacies according to an invoice that the student submits with the prescription and medication to the treatment unit to review the drug for disbursement of its value, and the bill, whose exceeds 50 pounds, sends to the General Administration of Medical Affairs to extract the value of the treatment by check for the student. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;
