It includes two important branches, Entomology and pesticides.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Entomology:<\/li>\n<li>It deals with the study of insects that affect various kinds of horticultural crops, in addition to study the biology, physiology, morphology, and the environment of insects.<\/li>\n<li>It deals also with the study of insects with medical and veterinary importance, as well as insects that infect stored grain.<\/li>\n<li>Pesticides:<\/li>\n<li>It is a branch of Department of Plant Protection that is concerned with controlling various types of agricultural pests (insects \u2013 mites \u2013 nematodes \u2013 rodents \u2013 fungi \u2013 bacteria \u2013 snails).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It deals with studying the issues of environmental pollution by pesticides and their side effects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The department is considered one of the most important departments.
