Building the largest Factory in the Middle East
The governor of Qena invited number of investors to invest in Marble and
Granite Industry as well as benefiting from resources and mineral wealth
in the region , where has been built the largest factory in the Middle
East by cooperation with Italy's experiences and helping specialists
from Geology department, faculty of science at the university, in order
to be able to compete Italy factories
Italian experts declared after have inspected raw materials that are
rare and will extract them and manufacture in factory at industrial
region in Qeft, Qena, in addition to Geology department at Faculty of
Science has an important role in searching for Natural Resources and
Mineral Wealth, as well as contributing to extract number of licenses
for granite quarries and sandstone in the Eastern Desert to serve this
factory.
Egypt can play a large role through investment in uprooting, cutting and
polishing marble and granite by helping expertise and efforts of their
sons. Where it is considered a large investment in the South Valley
where there aren’t factories in provinces Sohag, Qena and Red Sea
