Committee of Medical Studies Sector  at South Valley University

The Committee of Medical Studies Sector on the Supreme Council of Universities visited the University Hospital of South Valley University in Qena.

The Committee delegation included Dr. Rashad Barsoum ,Chairman of the Commission sector, deans of medical faculties at Egyptian Universities and the representative of the Egyptian Medical Association. Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the University president and Prof. Dr Mansour Kabbash, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Qena, received the committee members . The faculty dean explained the University Hospital departments to them

The Committee members also inspected the various departments of the hospital including intensive care, Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery and operations

The Committee members also Visited the University Hospital that located within the campus, they followed the hospital equipments including (10) operating room,(2) intensive care room, Computerized Tomography(CT scan) room, waiting room for patients. The Committee had concluded its visit with a meeting with Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the University president, where they discussed the future of medical education ,the future plans of the Faculty of Medicine, Qena and aspects of cooperation between colleges of Medicine in Egyptian Universities.
