For the first time in Qena University Hospital:

Speculum Operations of High-Resolution

The University of South Valley under the auspices of Prof. Abbas Mansour, President of the university, organized a workshop in Qena University Hospital where Speculum of biliary and upper digestive tract were conducted for the first time in the hospital.

Dr. Hamdi Hussein, head of General Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Qena declared that the workshop objective, the diagnosis and treatment for various conditions such as tumors , inflammation of the bile ducts, gallstones, and the installation of the metal beams and also educating and training of new young doctors in this discipline, as well as holding seminars on the conditions to change experiences between Qena University Hospital and other hospitals in all over the country.

The workshop was attended by Dr. Khalid Al-Bassel, consultant of the digestive system, liver and Endoscopies of the Educational Hospital Authority and the Centre of Oncology ,and Dr. Omar Afifi, Professor of Internal Medicine, Endoscopy, Faculty of Medicine, Banha University. Also the workshop was attended by doctors from Qena General hospital and fever as well as doctors of Qena medical university hospital.
