- The president of South Valley University opens:Research projects in Aswan Campus.
- Prof. Dr. Abaas Mansour, the president of South Valley University showed project of planning campus of South Valley University in Aswan, which held on 650 acres in Aswan, which is designed by faculty of Engineering in Aswan.
- The president of university assured that the importance of Research projects in advancing the progress and development because it creates competition between young researchers. The university supports any project that contributes to innovation and serves community because projects become competitive.
- The president of the university exalted in research centers which he visited it in Faculty of Engineering in Aswan, where he inaugurated Research Center of industrial electronics applications in Aswan, a unit of a private nature. It has five research projects from internal and external. It provides studies in serving industry. Also the president of university opened Jelcom Egyptian lab, which will be supplied by the Japanese-Egyptian Company for Communications with cooperation with Japanese Panasonic. It is about 200,000 pounds. This lab contributes to do trainings for engineers and technicians before and after graduation on systems of modern technology and how to maintain these devices, design and development of these systems to meet the challenges of the labor market and the requirements of modern training speeds on high level of quality through protocols in the field of engineering training.
