The
fifth Meeting of the Board of Directors of the
Arab Council for student activities was
concluded at SVU , where discussed the agenda
and appointment of Prof. Dr. Hefni Ismail as
Director of the Arab Council for student
activities instead of prof. Dr. Tharwat Abdul
Rahman, former director .
Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the president of
Arab Council for student activities which
follows to Association for Arab Universities in
his dialogue for the university website praised
the activities of Arab Council, the achievements
and programs at the level of the universities in
2012, especially Arab Futsal Championship for
Arab universities and symposiums of Scientific
Signs as well as other activities , where he
confirmed that the council will implement
programs at the level of Arab Universities also
he congratulated Prof. Dr. Hefni Ismail on his
appointment as Director of the Arab Council for
student activities, he also added that the
council implements its activities despite these
circumstances.
Dr. Mohamed
Raafat, Assistant Secretary of the Arab Council
for student activities expressed his happiness
with these decisions that include holding the
artistic festival in one of Arab universities
and praised all the programs that implemented in
2012.
While Prof.
Dr. Hefni Ismail, director of the Arab Council
for Student Activities expressed his happiness
to his appointment, confirming that there is a
vision will implement through the Council
programs in the Arab countries.
On the other
hand, Dr. Essam Abd Al-Qader at University of
Mosul in Iraq and Board member at the Arab
council for activities thanked Prof. Dr. Abbas
Mansour, the president of council and he praised
the scientific progress and activities at SVU,
he also added that will be a lot of student
programs at universities of Iraq, Stressing that
Iraq was the Council headquarters since
establishment.
