Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the University
president met with the teamwork of SOLEDA
project and confirmed that the project aims to
open Diploma in solar energy which is one of
projects funded by Tempus program that
participated by several European universities
from Spain, Greece, England and Italy, as well
as Egyptian universities included Cairo, Fayoum
and South Valley in participation with the
German-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Egyptian
Center for Nanotechnology.
On the other hand, Dr. Mahmoud Sayed Abdel Sadek,
project coordinator at the university added that
the project team includes Dr. Mohammed Khiat ,
Dr. Ramy Ghannam and Dr. Ahmed Said Khalil ,
while the visiting included inspecting
laboratories of practical training and
theoretical for students of Diploma in South
Valley University , it was also the project
presentation by Dr. Ramy Ghannam about the
project objectives and its importance in the
presence of Vices of the University President
and a group of university academic staff at the
