South Valley University organizes:
A workshop on sanitation treatment for use in land reclamation
 
 Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, president of South Valley University, declared that in the framework of the cooperation protocol between the university ,company of drinking water and sanitation and the German side, a workshop was held on sanitation treatment and using it in the cultivation of desert land in accordance with the signed protocol between the three sides which were funded by the German side and the Fund of Sciences and Technological Development of the Ministry of Higher Education

Prof. Dr. Abdul-Fattah Hashim, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, added that the project was signed last March. At this meeting the previous phase of the project has been assessed on the use of treated sanitation in the cultivation of desert land in the area of Salhiya and that is a subsidiary of drinking water and sanitation in Qena

He noted that the next phrases of the project were agreed to implement where the role each side of the three sides involved in this project were defined ,South Valley University drinking Water Company in Qena as an Egyptian side ,the Institute of Ifas , Areal Company and GHF Company from the German side

The workshop was attended by the German side of the five specialists in the treatment of sanitation in addition to General Mahmoud Zaki, president of drinking water, Engineer Mahmoud Shahin, a representative of the holding company for drinking water and sanitation in Cairo and the participating research team in this project
