General Adel Labib, Qena
governor met with Regional Medical Council which
consisted of Prof. Abbas Mansour the president
of South Valley University, Dr. Mansour kebash,
the Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Manager of
the University Hospital , as well as in presence
of Manager of Military Hospital , Deputy of
Health Ministry , Heads of Health Units and
Centers of Health Directorate in Qena , Red
Crescent and Health Insurance ,where the meet
aims to achieve the integrated among government
hospitals in all financial possibilities and
individuals .
General Adel Labib confirmed that will work
emergency department in the university hospital
to receipt transferred cases from general
hospitals and central of Health Directorate
which need to high level medical services (3rd
level) such as Neurosurgery, as well as working
Hospital of Insurance Health.
General Adel Labib issued decree by separating
One-Day Hospital from Qena General Hospital and
working it to provide distinguished medical
service by cooperation with the University
Hospital through making single contracts,
training doctors and nursing, partial
secondments for doctors to raise their
performance and serving citizens in surgical
disciplines such as Tumors , Vascular and
Orthopedic surgery, as well as providing
Esterification Heart Unit and Open-Heart
Surgery.
The governor of Qena asked to put Qena
government into account in distribution of
Doctors commissioning and some disciplines
(Intensive care- Anesthesia- Orthopedic) to meet
the shortage in some disciplines doctors in
health units and hospitals, as well as assigning
the contractors doctors with health insurance
and military hospital to perform their work in
official working hours to reduce the waiting of
patients until forming independent individuals
in these area in the future.
Prof. Abbas Mansour, the University President
confirmed that this meeting aims to serve
citizens in Qena and providing comprehensive
medical service and this is the role of the
University in local community service in all
fields,
He added that the University Hospital succeeded
in conducting a lot of surgeries such as
Open-Heart Surgeries by professors of Faculty of
Medicine, Qena.
Prof. Abbas Mansour, the university president,
thanked general Adel Labib for his efforts in
raising comprehensive development in Qena ,
especially the health sector as well as he
thanked Manager of Military Hospital , Deputy of
Health Ministry , Heads of Health Units and
Centers of Health Directorate in Qena , Red
Crescent and Health Insurance for this fruitful
cooperation in the interest of the people of
Qena .
