The university president honors the innovators at SVU




Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the University president emphasized on his support to all the scientific activities for the university students beside seeking to implement distinguished projects and developing the Science Club at the university by required equipments that will increase the sense of innovation for students without discrimination among students of practical and theoretical faculties ,This came during his honoring for students who won the first positions in the scientific forums that were held at the level of the Republic

While Dr. Mahmoud Sayed Abdel-Sadek, scientific advisor of the University declared that students of the Science Club University participated in 6th Scientific forum of Egyptian universities ("ROBOT 2013"), which was held at Helwan University in the period from 7 - 10 /4/2013, where (4) student from faculty of Engineering participated with control circuits project and won the fifth position included Hamdi Ahmed Fahmi, fourth year , Walid Jamal Mohammed, third year ,Hammam Ahmed Abu al-Wafa and Eid Abdel Dayem Hassen, third year.

Moreover , The scientific adviser of the university added that the University also participated in scientific forum for talented and innovators , which was held at Camp of leadership development institute in Helwan in the period from 12 -15/4/ 2013 with the participation of (19) university and (96) project , where students of South Valley University won the first position in the project “Soilless Agriculture " for the modern applications in agricultural engineering that participated by (3) student from Faculty of Commerce in Qena included Abu Al-Hamd Dkrony , Mahmoud Abdel Mwgood and Ahmed Amr Ali El-Erian ,beside the University students also won the third position in project "electrician holder" participated by student /Mohammed AbdulRahim AbdulAziz, Faculty of Physical Education , Najla Fathi Kamal, Faculty of Science and Zainab Mahrous Ali, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, while honor ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Hifni Ismail, Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sayed Taha, Vice President for Community Service.
