For the first time in Egypt:
Conducting three surgeries by using the latest high-quality Lens in Spine at the University Hospital, Qena

Prof. Dr. Oertel, Expert of neurosurgery and spine at the University of Hamburg confirmed that he would use the latest device in the world in laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of diseases of neurosurgery and spine by conducting three surgeries at the University Hospital, Qena where it is an optical 2000000 megapixel lens to give a high-quality image of the spine.


He explained that neurosurgery and spine surgeries was advanced a lot in the world, confirming that the surgeries will conduct tomorrow is one of the accurate surgeries by using the latest devices through opening a hole in the back and entering endoscope with a lens then conducting the surgery through the endoscope.
He explained that the scientific progress of scholars in science, especially physics was helped in medical research, especially in the neurosurgery and spine surgeries; on the other hand, the Global expert expressed on his happiness for the university hospitals at the university, pointing that are a suitable for patients in all sides.
For his tour today, he said that he was happy for giving lectures to doctors and colleagues, especially by using the latest scientific devices in the spine and neurosurgery surgeries and today will conduct three surgeries as well as a training course for doctors.


Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the university president thanked Prof. Dr. Oertel and he expressed on his happiness for distinction of the university hospital in using the latest devices in the treatment of spine, where Prof. Dr. Oertel thanked all doctors and workers at the hospital, confirming that the University Hospital became a major medical center by visiting the global doctors, while he pointed that there is a medical convoy at the highest level from Germany will visit the university in March includes all disciplines as well as successful of the university hospital in conducting open-heart surgeries, He stressed that the university has succeeded in its scientific mission and social through various medical convoys in all the villages of Qena, Luxor and the Red Sea, where the university president expressed on his happiness to hold Arab Championship by participating (30) Arab universities and Egyptian, beside a symposium on “scientific miracles in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah” by senior scientists lecturers in the interpretation of the scientific miracles.
On other hand, Prof .Dr. Moamen Mohammed Al- Moamen, professor and head of Neurosurgery Department at Sohag University , Faculty of Medicine said that this visit distinguished in using the latest devices and what has achieved Neurosurgery in the world ,where we benefit greatly from those visits that include training courses, lectures and surgeries.


Prof. Dr. Radwan Al-Nubi, Professor and head of Neurosurgery Department at Assiut University confirmed that the visit is major medical achievement to Neurosurgery and spine Department at the university hospital and explained that his relationship with Prof. Dr. Oertel was through special association for doctors of Neurosurgery where he praised on acceptance the invitation stressing that he is not delaying any beneficial invitation for doctors and patients.
While Dr. Ali Rabia, Deputy of head of Neurosurgery Department at the University Hospital, Qena said that he is very happy with this visit, which will have great results in Neurosurgery and Spine, stressing that the lectures yesterday were at the highest scientific level and will be conducted today surgeries by using the latest devices, which is a large medical achievement in this specialization , therefore , it was given thanks for Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the university president on his interest in the University Hospital.
