GOALS

• SUPPORTING the Egyptian higher education with new computer-based teaching tools and materials by developing Virtual Learning Environments (VLE).

• ESTABLISHING Information Technology Training Center (ITTC)

• UPDATING the academic experimental Infrastructure facilities.

• ENHANCING the computer knowledge IT skills of the academic staff.

• UPGRADING the undergraduate students’ IT skills.

EXPECTED OUTPUTS

• A pioneering Virtual Lab Developing Center (VLDC) in Egypt.

• Establishing a professional IT training center.

• Complete Digital library for the resulted products,

• Complete video recording for real running experiments, with system schematics and description of the principles of operation supported by computer graphics and animations,

• Creation of ten virtual engineering labs (Civil & Electric),

• Multilevel interactive software serving as Virtual Laboratories Environments,

•  Training academic staff for utilizing the developed Virtual Lab Environment,

•  Acquiring Eight hundreds undergraduate students the computer and internet abilities,
