Participating in the Global Forum on Nanotechnology in Paris


Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, President of the University, has participated in the meeting of project of Excellence in Teaching Nanotechnology at Pierre and Marie Curie University in France where he met with its leadership to discuss how to develop their interrelationships .He also referred to the importance of attending that meeting as a result of the great efforts made by SVU in organizing workshops ,conferences and seminars on Nanotechnology .The meeting was attended by President of Fayoum University Prof. Dr. Khaled Ismail, Dr. Ahmed Khalil and Dr. Mahmoud Sayed Abdel Sadek from SVU. It is worth mentioning that The Pierre and Marie Curie University (UPMC) is the largest medical and scientific institution in France. It established in 1971 following the break-up of the old University of Paris, its roots can be traced back further, to 1109 and the Abbey of St Victor. It is a home to 120 laboratories and is supported by 3,750 researchers and professors. Its publications number is around 8,500 annually.



The faculty looks forward to provide educational chances on high level, develop creative skills, develop staff members' skills through veterinary services, use all scientific and technological ways in education for its students through active participation with society's institutions and organizations


The faculty looks forward to be distinguished and leader on the local, national and international level in Veterinary Medicine faculty through graduating sufficient veterinarians who are capable of the professional practice ,continuous education and doing researches to serve society and developing environment according to the general quality standards
