President of South Valley University witnesses the annual celebration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, South Valley University organized a celebration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, Prof. Dr. Badawy Shahat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nasary, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Hassan Othman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Qena, Adel Ahmed Mostafa, Secretary General of the University, and Dr. Hussein Abu Al-Magd, Director of the Disabled Center at the university.

The President of the University expressed his happiness to be with this distinguished group of students, praising the efforts of the State in providing all means of care for these students, stressing that the university gives priority to the disabled students in housing in the university hostels and exemption from tuition fees. The President of the University praised the efforts of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, led by Minister Nevine Al-Kabbaj, in caring for and supporting people with special needs.
The celebration activities included artistic performances for university students, laptops have been distributed to students with visual disabilities, and honoring outstanding students within the framework of the incubator program at the Ministry of Social Solidarity
