In support of the incapable segments in the geographical range, in implementation of the goals of the presidential initiative \u201cHayat Karima\u201d, and within the framework of the societal role that South Valley University is keen to provide in light of the implementation of President El-Sisi\u2019s directives regarding the need for cooperation of various state agencies, especially in the field of providing quality medical services.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 1rem; color: #212529; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji'; font-size: 16px; background-color: #ffffff;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">While Hany Abdel-Fattah, Executive Director, explained that the \u201d Qadam Sahiha\u201d initiative aims to provide medical care and awareness for diabetic foot patients to protect them from amputation. The initiative is implemented within a cooperation protocol with the Supreme Council of University Hospitals and under the auspices of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Social Solidarity to serve the people of Qena Governorate, with the follow-up of Major General Ashraf Al-Dawoudy, Qena Governor, and Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharabawy, President of South Valley University. Indicating that the \u201d Qadam Sahiha\u201d initiative succeeded in providing its services to more than 2000 citizens in Qena, where examination, treatment, and dressing were provided completely free of charge.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 1rem; color: #212529; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji'; font-size: 16px; background-color: #ffffff;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">With regard to the statistics of patients in the room, he stated that the room provided services to 2,000 patients with a monthly average of 160 patients, with a daily average of 20 patients in 8 working days, and the room succeeded in protecting 233 patients from actual foot amputation by handing them the supplies and treatment bag per month, with an average of 6 months for each patient.
