The department’s mission is to provide students with the knowledge,<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

information, and skills necessary to design and evaluate various<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

pharmaceutical forms that effectively deliver the drug to the patient’s<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

body. This is achieved by studying curriculum related to the<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

properties of different pharmaceutical preparations, methods of<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

preparation, development of their formulations, and factors that<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

affect their stability and effectiveness on the one hand, and Those<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

that affect absorption and pharmacokinetics of the drug in the<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

patient’s body on the other hand.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

It extends to include teaching for the postgraduate level, where the<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

department participates in teaching of Clinical Pharmacy Diploma<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

and Pharmaceutical Technology Diploma. It also offers postgraduate<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

programs that include a master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

(pharmaceutics) and a doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
