General Abdul Hameed Al-Hagan, Governor of Qena, and Prof. Abbas Mansour, President of South Valley University, open the activities of the 11th Environmental Week, organized by South Valley University from 9 to 14 March 2019.
The Governor of Qena said that the protection of the environment is a top priority for the country to face pollution, which devours wealth and natural resources, pointing to the importance of concerted efforts to carry out this task.
Al-Hajan recognizes South Valley University for its role in developing environmental awareness through its various activities and youth participation in various environmental activities.
The President of the University, in cooperation with the Governorate, praised the provision of community services and praised the efforts of the Ministry of Environment to support the activities of the Environment Week, which includes seminars and charity markets.
