Courses Description:<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

This course provides the theoretical basis and related current clinical<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

approaches for the practice of critical care. Advanced assessment skills,<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

diagnostic reasoning and decision making are emphasized. Clinical<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

application of theoretical content will include pathophysiology,<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

pharmacology and treatment modalities. A collaborative care model<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

provides the framework for the management and evaluation of care. The<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

focus is on situational crisis and clients with multi-system failures who<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

requires sophisticated technologies.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
