Within The Activities of “MASAAR” Project, a Training Course on Entrepreneurship at South Valley University.

Under the patronage of Dr Youssef Gharbawy, President of the University, and in cooperation with Enroot Development Firm and the Dutch Embassy, the university ​​organized a training course on entrepreneurship within the activities of  MASAAR project.

Dr Ahmed Kamal Nassary, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, stressed the university’s keenness to develop students’ skills and prepare them for the labour market through entrepreneurship training, pointing to  the cooperation with government institutions and civil society to spread the culture of entrepreneurship and embrace Projects within the framework of the university’s role to support the relationship with the surrounding community, as the university organizes comprehensive convoys to provide various services to the people of the region

Dr Essam al-Din Abdel-Hadi, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, mentioned that the partnership with Enroot started in 2018 and resulted in preparing many trainees in the field of entrepreneurship. He urged the 115 students participating in the training to make the most of the training, pointing to the college’s endeavour to establish a Business Incubator to serve the local community.

Akmal Najati, a senator and an expert on entrepreneurship, confirmed that the training continues for two days and includes training on the terminology of entrepreneurship, planning the idea and economic feasibility, then a group of trainees will be selected to attend a 5-day camp to implement the ideas.
