South Valley University students visit the Cairo International Book Fair

  Within the framework of the university management’s interest in student activities and activating the university’s plan to develop the cultural and enlightening aspect of students, Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, stated that a student delegation of 45 students from various faculties visited the Cairo International Book Fair at its 54th session, held under the theme “Together we read, think and innovate”.

  Dr. Badawy Shehat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, added that for two days the student delegation visited a number of important pavilions at the Cairo Book Fair, including the pavilion of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the National Anti-Corruption Academy, the Administrative Control Authority, Al-Azhar, the Ministry of Awqaf, the Egyptian Fatwa Institution, the Cultural Institutions, and the Cultural Events. 

  Finally, the university students looked at the latest books, references, and novels in various fields and they participated in attending a number of cultural events organized by the exhibition management. At the end of their visit, they were keen to acquire some books that caught their interest.
