Prof. Dr Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, announced the issuance of a republican decision of appointing Prof. Dr Mahfouz Abdel Sattar Abul Fadl Ibrahim as Vice President of South Valley University for Hurghada Branch.

It is noteworthy that Prof. Dr Mahfouz Abdalstar was Dean of the Faculty of Education in Hurghada, the First Vice-President of the University for Hurghada Branch Affairs, born on 27 August 1972 in Farshout, Qana Government. He was appointed teaching assistant of the Psychology Department at the Faculty of Education on 2/9/1996, Then he presented his Master of Philosophy in Education, specializing in psychological health, with an excellent grade, entitled (School Violence Among Secondary School Students in the light of some Personality Traits, a Clinical Study) In 2002, obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Education, specializing in psychological Health, entitled (The Effectiveness of Behavioural Therapy in Reducing School Violence Among a Sample of Secondary School Students, an Integrative Program for students, parents and teachers) In 2005, at the Faculty of Education in Qena, South Valley University, obtained the title of Professor in the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Education in Hurghada 4/26/2016, He has commissioned as the Vice-dean of the Faculty of Education for Education and Students affairs on 5/5/2011, Then Supervisor on the Faculty of Education  in Hurghada 9/10/2011 , and then Dean of the faculty of Education before the Presidential decision has issued appointing him as Vice President of South Valley University for Hurghada Branch 2002.
