As part of the implemented protocol between South Valley University and the Prevention and Treatment of Drug Addiction Fund, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharabawy, President of the University, The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector organized, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassar, University Vice-President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, series of awareness seminars for university students on substance abuse in many faculties.
Prof. Dr. Gharabawy pointed out that the workshops aim to raise awareness about the harm caused by drugs and implement awareness programs during the academic year, and also Prof. Dr. Nassary stressed that the seminars would be organized in the faculties of pharmacy, law, medicine, science, and the Technical Institute of Health, at the end of the seminar, an open discussion took place between the students and the participants on all issues related to this topic.
