South Valley University held a graduation ceremony of the first class at the Faculty of Engineering in Qena

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the University President, South Valley University held a graduation ceremony of the first class at the Faculty of Engineering in Qena.
The University President in his word pointed out that one of the most important objectives of the university is the completion from the establishment of the basic and important faculties to serve students and alleviate the suffering of parents even if the available possibilities at faculties were weak, But we try to complete the lack of those possibilities at the faculties gradually year after year.
In spite of its modernity, but that the university ranked advanced arrangement on one of the most important websites, it also competing with the local and international universities and it is still among the best 100 African universities.
He also pointed to the need for the faculty of Engineering to take the most advantage from the limited possibilities and to keep the close association of all factories and companies in the territory of Upper Egypt.
He also noted that the first students will be appointed at the faculty as chancellors.
Prof. Dr. Hefny Ismael, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs said that the establishment of the Faculty of Engineering at the University has been delayed so much; He also thanked “Qena Cement Company” for its contribution to support several student activities at the university.
Prof. Dr. Jamal Tag Abdel Jaber, the faculty dean stressed that the access to this important moment in the history of the faculty took a lot of effort and work; He also thanked the university president and his deputies for their primary role and their permanent support to the faculty, pointing to provide everything new of teaching aids for students to complete the theoretical aspects with the practical study.
Abd Al-Nasser Sharqawi, the first student on the faculty” first year” expressed his happiness with honoring ceremony, which contributes to encourage students to diligence and excellence, also He thanked Prof .Dr. Abbas Mansour, the university president for his presence, and pointed out that science is life, scientists are the heirs of the prophets and science is which contributes to progress.
He also thanked the efforts of the parents of students to care for their children and access to success and excellence.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khouddary Vice President for Graduate Studies and Prof. Dr. Sayed Taha, Vice President for Environmental Affairs and Community Development, deans, faculty members, their assistants and parents of students.
At the end of the ceremony, Prof. Abbas Mansour, the university president gave (116) graduate students the graduation certificates, also the Engineer Alaa Abd Al-Hamid, director of Qena Cement Company delivered financial awards for the top students.
